Hot diggity; say hello to our two new burgers ~ Ghost pepper chicken and Ranch chicken. Available in all stores for a limited time.
Until now, we’ve been fulfilling your fried chicken dreams with our OG Chicken burger. Now we’ve spiced things up a little and launched not one, but two, new burgers ~ because we get that some of us are down for a burg’ with a hit of hot and some like it not.
Burger, sandwich or sando – whatever you prefer to call ‘em; we’re taking Southern-style buttermilk fried chicken, pickles and lashings of either a ghost pepper mayo (this packs a punch) or a creamy ranch - the choice is yours, and sandwiching it all between our buttery Shake Out potato and pumpkin flour buns.
Now, if you’re not a connoisseur of Scolville units, and don’t know your jalapeno from your bhut jolokia - it is all good, but you could probably lose a couple of hours on the internet watching people eat whole ghost peppers to understand that they pack a punch. For the spice fanatics, our Ghost pepper chicken is not too hot to handle but is sure to give you a good kick. For the spice-adverse, take our ranch option for a spin; crispy, creamy with no fear of getting eye-watering mouth burn.
Two much of a good thing? Not all fried chicken was created equal; our NZ free-range chicken breast is marinated for 24 hours in spices and buttermilk before we fire up the store to bring you this killer burger.
